A STORY OF ENTREPRENEURS

On July 7, 1910, a company called AZUCARERA PARAGUAYA SA (AZPA) was established, starting its activities with approximately 70 to 100 direct workers.

"So in the green regions of Paraguay, the pioneers who arrived from 1900 to 1910 planted a dream that today has grown into a solid reality."

A HISTORY OF PRECURSORS

Since its inception, the mill has developed the most innovative programs in the country, such as: The first reforestation program with the mission of preserving native forests and a sustainable resource for future generations.

"AZPA developed systems for the use of renewable or alternative energy. With the development of the alcohol production system for energy purposes, it has contributed to the provision of fuels for use in the country's automobile fleet."

A HISTORY OF WORKERS

At the beginning of the 20th century, its processing capacity reached 200 tons/day, incorporating throughout its history machinery and high-tech elements from the sugar industry.

Thus progressively increasing its capacity, with constant expansions and highly trained HR, reaching the 21st century with a processing capacity of 8,000 tons/day.

 

AZPA today offers a variety of products and meets the highest quality requirements in the market. Looking for the consolidation and positioning of the products at a national and international level under the concept of continuous improvement.

Azucarera Paraguaya SA is dedicated to the production of sugar, alcohol, molasses and carbon dioxide. The company will work to maintain its high prestige and reliability, adding to its experience and tradition in the sugar market of more than 100 years.

ENVIRONMENT

The commitment to environmental conservation is one of the pillars of AZPA. Conservation agriculture programs, plantations for energy purposes, reforestation and ecosystem restoration make up AZPA's environmental management plan.
